Wasn't Lord Buddha born in the Nepali land??
Lumbini is the sacred place located in Nepal,where the pitcher of peace Lord Buddha was bornabout 2500 years ago.We all know that and there is no doubt in it.But the recently releasedBollywood film Chandni chowk to china has made a doubt and cent percent wrong claim that Buddha was born in the Indian land.We Nepali people take it as an attack to the Nepal sovernity and the cultural tolerance of Nepal.It's nothing except the colonist concept of our neighbors in the south.That's obviously a cultural attack which is a shameless and insurmountable mistake though may be done reluctantly or deliberately.
Protest is not unpredicted against such attack.Though the programs of protest are few and less
heated the roads of Nepal.Thanks to all who has made a protest and i would like to request to all
other Nepali to do a protest against such an attack against our originality and sacred cultural
tolerance.But the way how we protest should really be changed or i mean improved.Lets not
burn the tyres,heat the roads,disturb the transportation system neither call a strike.Those are
not the ways to protest rather barbarism.Why not write blogs,articles against it and do peaceful
programs of protest that neither destroy our own properties nor stop our brothers and sisters do
their jobs.Do rise your voice against it and other Indian colonism acts in such a serene way.
I am amazed why the Nepalese film board did not censor such a film with a virus to attack the
Nepali cultural feelings.May be the one who made that film don't know about the birth land of
Buddha but those in the Nepalese film board really know.The film board is only nimble to censor
the Made in Nepal films.
Either the part of the film should be cut and censored or the entire film should be banned in Nepal as it is not the first time that Nepal and WE Nepali are behaved so arrogant by our neighbour in south.Why the Indian Embassy in Nepal gives it official statement against such hot cake and issue.
WHO KNOWS ?THAT THE INDIANS HAVE THOUGHT LUMBINI [birth place of Gautam Buddha ] AS THEIR LAND OR ARE THEY TRYING TO DIGEST IT AS THEY HAVE BEEN DOING TO OTHER PARTS OF NEPAL.
